Green Smoothie: Swiss Chard, Cucumber, Strawberries and Figs

    Ingredients

  • 1 Swiss chard
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 8-12 Strawberries
  • 4-6 Soaked figs
  • About 2 cups of water
    Approximate serving size

  • 6 cups
    Machine use

  • Vita-Mix blender
    Directions

  • Pull stems off strawberries and put in Vita-Mix
  • Add figs with some of the soak water
  • Turn Vita-Mix on variable speed. Walk it up slowly and blend fruits until smooth.
  • Cut up cucumber and toss into Vita-Mix
  • Turn Vita-Mix on variable speed. Walk it up again to blend in cucumbers.
  • Add more water to thin out the smoothie.
  • Cut up the swiss chard and put in Vita-Mix.
  • Turn on Vita-Mix on variable speed. Walk it up and then blast it on high for about 20-30 seconds to thoroughly blend.
