Marinated “Fried” Onions

Use in salads, wraps and sandwiches.

    Ingredients

  • 2 handfuls of pre-shredded onions
  • 2 tablespoons of agave nectar
  • 2 tablespoons of nama shoyu
    Approximate serving size

  • Depends on use

    Directions

  • Put onions in tupperware or bowl that you are going to store them in.
  • Pour nama shoyu over onions.
  • Pour agave over onions.
  • The onions shouldn’t be completely submerged in the mixture.
  • Place lid on container and shake up to coat onions.
  • Store in fridge for a few hours. The longer they sit, the more “fried” they will be.
