Kerala Raw Plantain Curry/Amma Special Simple Pacha Kaya Ozhichu Curry:Recipe 104


Ingredients

Raw Banana/Nentra kaya-1 small
Tomato-1 small
Turmeric powder-less than 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder-1/2tsp
Coriander powder-1/2tsp
Salt- to taste
Water-2cups
Grated coconut-1/4 of 1
Shallots-3
Curry leaves-1string
Dry red chilli-1
Coconut Oil-1tbsp

Method
Wash and clean banana..Cut into small pieces and wash thoroughly in salt water ..Wash again..
Cook this pieces along with turmeric powder,chilli powder ,coriander power,one string of curry leaves,chopped tomato ,enough salt ,coconut oil and water .
Two whistle is enough ..
In between finely grind grated coconut along with enough water ..
When banana pieces r well cooked ,add this ground paste to this and boil well for 10 minutes in low flame(until the raw smell of the masalas goes )
Check the salt …
Heat oil and add  finely sliced small onion ,dry red chilli and curry leaves(low flame) … roast until the onion become light brown
shade ..
Pour this seasoning to the curry and close the kadai or cooker …
Serve after few minutes with rice ,chapaty..etc..

RAW VEGAN MEATLOAF || FULL RECIPE

FULL RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:
-1 CUP CHOPPED CELERY
-3 CUPS CHOPPED CARROTS
-1 SMALL ONION CHOPPED
-1/2 CUP WALNUTS
-1/2 CUP RAW COCONUT FLOUR
-1 SMALL ZUCCHINI PEELED AND CHOPPED
-1/4 TSP GARLIC
-2 TBSP COCONUT AMINOS
-2 TBSP GROUND CHIA
-6 TBSP WATER
-3/4 CUP SUNDRIED TOMATOES
-4 PITTED MEDJOOL DATES

DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine celery, carrots, onion, and zucchini in high speed food processor. Process until well combined.
2. Add walnuts, flour, and garlic powder.
2. Process on high for about 3 mintues and stop to stir as needed.
3. In a large bowl combine ground chia and water to form chia “egg”
consistency. Let sit for 10 min.
4. Pour meatloaf batter into large bowl with chia egg and stir well until evenly combined.
5. Use a dehydrator tray with a teflon sheet and using your hands
mold batter into a loaf form.
6. Soak sun dried tomatoes and dates in water for 1 hour. Drain the sun dried tomatoes and dates and save the soaked water.
7. In a high speed blender combine dates, sun dried tomates, and
1/2 cup of the soaked water. Use tamper to blend under smooth.
8. Spread glaze on top of the loaf.
9. Dehydrate for 8 hours at 115 degrees fahrenheit.

A highly addictive healthy raw vegan meal you can quickly make and eat immediately- no cooking, heating, boiling…just mix and eat! Yes you can eat sweet potato raw! Cara Brotman shows how easy it is.

Recipe:

2 sweet potatoes
1 cup dried currants
1 cup chopped nuts

Curry Almond Sauce
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup melted coconut oil
6 tsp curry powder
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cumin
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp Tamari
1 Tbsp finely minced ginger
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds (optional)
bit of chopped garlic to taste

Directions:
Whisk the sauce ingredients together in a bowl. Peel the sweet potatoes and spiralize them to make the raw sweet potato noodles. Place everything in bowl and mix well.
