EAT JAPAN: Ikizukuri Squid, Karashi Renkon, food Russian Roulette

Special Fukuoka food: Fresh squid sashimi. Number 7 on my list of 11 strangest foods I’ve eaten in Japan. http://supershy.wordpress.com/2011/03/01/the-11-strangest-foods-ive-eaten-in-japan/

Special Kumamoto food: Lotus root filled with spicy mustard 2:30

We also eat fried whole shrimp 3:09 and play Russian roulette with gyoza 3:44

Our friend Akiko from college visited with another former exchange student, also named Yuuki. (Btw, Yuuki is usually a boys name that means ‘courage’… where Yuki is usually a girls name that means ‘snow’)

私たちの友達ユウキさんとアキコさん福岡に来ました。博多駅の近くさかな市場に行った。福岡のイカの活き造りとからしレンコンと小エビから揚げを食べました。その後はギョーザのロシアンルーレットをしました。
