  3. Hello Ka, I like your honesty… an important aspect of transmitting
    information. Also, raw food is not something that is available all year
    round in parts of the world e.g in winter and I think this is the time to
    eat other types of food such as patatoes, sweede, pumpkins, etc and these
    type of food does have to be cooked to be able to be digested. I beleive
    seasonal food is important to health and therefore requires a non 100% raw
    food. I would love to hear your take on this. BEST WISHES

  5. Wish I could hit like 100 times for this. I do sometimes feel sad inside
    when I see someone feeding their beautiful children nothing but processed
    junk but it is not my place to judge. BE the change, don’t preach the

  6. 80/10/10 is all about the dark green veggies.You haven’t read the book then
    or followed the program?? 80/10/10 is perfectly balanced cos’ we eat tons
    of veggies too! Too many people comment about the 80/10/10 diet when they
    haven’t even read the book or followed it correctly!

  7. what I like aboout your aproach Ka is that you are a realist, I mean you
    point out that it is important to have emotional part ot the life too-as
    you said in couple of your videos about eating cooked food with loads of
    raw one if you live in a cold country/dont have enough money to buy
    expensive sometimes organic food/are not convinced to the idea/your family
    does not agree etc. THese life circumstances and social ones too are our
    daily life and need to be changed gradually I think. I am not vegetarian or
    raw eater, but learn a lot about it, also about fasting (physical as well
    as spiritual aspect in my faith in God) and history of food. What
    encourages me is when people are respectful. And that is the way I try to
    tell my husband as well, he is open and does well changing his eating
    habits. For me it has been 6year long journey since I first heard about
    standard diet’s influence on health and how it all ‘was supposed to be’. I
    eat much less meat, and more quality one, bread once a day, fruits, nuts,
    vegetables every day. Try to juice and eat raw salads couple of times a
    week. Cook thick vegetable soups – Eintopf:) – to safisfy hunger as main
    meal of the day (instead of meat, potatoes, salad which was the default). I
    hope my sharing will encourange others as what I do now shows results and
    are quite simple steps which take only a couple of days/weeks to get used
    to. Tchuss!

  8. Yes, yes, yes – totally agree with you. Gone through most of these mistakes
    myself since last year – especially too many nuts&fruits or under eating
    while being stuck in a long hours job with zero raw food sources! Ka,

    If I watched and believed this when I was young, it would save me from much
    of the problems I’ve done to myself.. it’s not important what you eat or if
    you’re 100% or not.. It’s much better you’ll just love yourself and respect
    your body.. Our body knows what it needs much more than we think is healthy
    and good for it… Millions of years are much more than 100 years of human
    experience… We can to this life you learn and love! That’s it! this
    obssession with diet and food must end.. We need to trust ourselves much
    more.. :-)

  11. lol @ gray pale raw foodists! most of the ones I’ve seen or know are
    exactly like that, very pale and sunken in looking, iron and B-12
    deficient, no understanding – very glad someone like you saying the truth –
    also, cooking greens is better because of oxalates, and heating tomatoes is
    better because a little heat is needed to release the wonderful lycopenes.
    I eat 75% fruits and vegetables, lots of raw fruits, herbs and some
    veggies either raw whole or in smoothies but I also cook some food like
    green leafy stuff (collards, turnip greens, spinach, kale) I also still eat
    eggs, wild fish (salmon or white fish, not farm raised) and occasionally a
    lean beef, my iron fell to dangerously low levels 3 years ago, iron
    ferritin was 2, B-12 and vit D very very low also, extremely anemic and had
    to get 10 months B-12 injections and 16 weeks iron injections/infusions.
    So now I am 75% whole raw fruits and vegetables (all colors and varieties,
    eat a rainbow), a little cooked veggies (greens and sometimes tomatoes),
    raw nuts and seeds, no dairy – use almond milk, and the protein supplements
    I need to avoid anemia from the eggs, organic chicken and fish
