I think that this is a valid question.
Why -if the 100% raw food diet- is so super-duper healthy and good, do still most of the big-guns out there promoting the raw food lifestyle take supplements??
Almost all the friends I have out there promoting and endorsing the raw food diet do take additional supplemets.
Is a 100% raw vegan diet THE way to go?
Why does it seem to be impossible to get all your nutritional needs covered with raw foods only?
These questions, and some more I try to answer in this video.
Please also understand that I am just sharing my own personal view here.

I also want to be 100% honest with you guys. We are also taking supplementation in our family.
every half year we take a Vitamin B12 supplement, to make sure our B12 levels are doing fine.
That is it from our side.
But still we are in the same boat with the leaders here, aren’t we?
We also take those supplements in addition to a healthy raw food diet.
2 reasons I want to give to you here (for more, do please watch the video!)
– 1. reason:
The soil nowadays is degenerated. Most of the foods we grow anyway is not grwoing on compost soil of organic food, but on steril ground mixed with fertilizers.
This soil can of course not help the plants to generate super nutrient rich food.
Most food we eat (even as raw foodists) are hybrid foods, that have very little in common with the true wild foods of the old times.
we must return to eating those “old” types of food. The ancient wild foods and wild herbs do hold the key to this problem.
We must turn away from designed Monsanto Tomatoes and peppers towards the small, seed-filled and sour types our grand-parents have been eating.
this is the obly solution how we can get all the nutrients we need along with eating natural superfoods (that are also wild foods by the way!)
