Making green juice from scratch is one of the best things you can do for your health. I’ll show you how to make it, which juicer I use, and tell you about the most important feature to look for when buying a juicer.

When you juice raw vegetables and fruits, you are eating the best nutrition you can. You will extract vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, and antioxidants.

With a Juicer like the one I use in the video, you can easily and quickly make your green drink.

1 to 2 organic apples, or a pear
1 or 2 stalks of organic celery
1/2 of an organic cucumber
handful of organic parsley
handful of organic cilantro
3 or 4 leaves of organic romain lettuce
1/4 of an organic lime or lemon

Rinse and cut vegetables into pieces that will fit into the juicing shoot.

Juice until you get a glass full of juice and enjoy.

I like the Omega masticating juicer for juicing green leafy vegetables but if you like a centrifugal juicer like the Brevel then by all means get it and use it.

It’s best to keep the fruit to a minimum when juicing so you avoid the insulin spike especially if you are diabetic. I usually only use an apple.

There is very little digestion going on when you don’t have the fiber in your juice. You get concentrated nutrition that gives you great energy first thing in the morning.

Blending is great also. Blending includes all the fiber plus everything else that juicing provides. It’s also more filling and probably a little less nutrition by comparison. Both are great.
