Hi friends! I shot this video a few months ago and finally had the chance to edit it! I love making videos this way so I’ll be doing more recipe videos like this one!
The cashew “cheese” in this recipe was
1/2 cup soaked cashews
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 small sweet red pepper or half of a large one
3 pitted dates
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 clove garlic
A dash of salt and cayenne,
1/8 tsp smoked paprika and any spices you might desire.
Blend with about 1/2 cup water or more to desired consistency. I always have a bit of this on hand for dips, dressings and sushi! Use UNTOASTED nori sheets from www.seaveg.com.
Also, I no longer use agave syrup. I only used it here because I had no dates. I use about 2-3 dates now depending on how much cauliflower I’m blending. It works just as well to make it sticky you can also stir into the cauliflower some chopped green onions, parsley or cilantro for a different flavour! Enjoy!
