Worried about over eating on a high carbohydrate vegan diet? Worry no mo’
So many people tell me I’m eating too many calories by eating 10 bananas or a big bowl of rice per meal. Usually they have a weight loss experience where they lost some weight by cutting down on calories from their high fat, greasy meat diet and they’re trying to relate it to your diet. But when your eating a diet that is so low in fat (less than 10% of calories from fat) and high in carbohydrates (at least 80% of calories from carbs) your body wants to BURN fat NOT store fat. Fat you eat is the fat you wear. Sugar (carbs) are constantly being burned by the body; when you breathe, move, think, talk, eat, and sleep. I’m no doctor but how are all these people, who are coming from obesity and anorexia, transforming themselves into athletes by going on high carbohydrate diets?! NO successful athletes are on low carbohydrate diets. You want to be an athlete?! CARB THE F*CK UP!

The three fundamentals for sustaining a long and healthy life is getting enough water, sugar, and sleep DAILY! Once that is established, getting some sunshine and sport during the week will make you go even further.
